First session of SCC

right, so today was my first session at song composing club. i was kinda excited at the first place. because it was something new to me, i dont know anyone from the club except for lee and i dont know what will we be doing for the session. i found out from one of the seniors that we are gonna watch performances by our own members today. they carry out this every month, where members will compose their own song, submit and perform to the rest. if i remembered correctly, there were 8 performances, 5 of which was chinese songs and the rest was english. each and every one of us were given a grading sheet with rating from 1-10 and we gotta grade them according to the lyrics, melody, arrangement and singing. of all the performances, i liked the first one. first of all, its in english and secondly, its rock, my genre. singing wasnt top notch but still ok, much better than me.i like the arrangement, the lyrics were nice, song was nice, overall a great performance. the rest of the performances wasn't too bad either. what's best is that all these songs are original, composed by themselves which i think it's very impressive. i do hope so by the end of poly, probably i would have composed my own songs and even performed :) i know that day will come.

assignments,assignments and more assignments.

To think that e-learning week is great, because we don't have to go to school, well it's absolutely wrong. for the past few days, i've been busy doing all these assignments and it's killing me. if i was given a choice, i would definitely chose to have lessons instead of e-learning. tomorrow is the dateline for all the assignments and i'm only left with 1 more to go, which is a pratical and i dont know how to do. have to ask my classmates tomorrow at school.

oh ya, yesterday went back to school for 2 interviews and also doing my assignments with my friends. first interview was the ambassadors interview which i've signed up for.i thought the interview went well, the interviewer was a friendly guy,in his third year of poly already.he asked a lot of questions like why i intend to join the ambassadors, what do i know about ambassadors, what ccas i have now and during secondary school, and plenty more. the results will only be out next monday and if i happen to be in, there will still be another interview to go through which will be done by the Ex-com of the club.well, hope i get in then :)

The second interview was the song composing club. since i was so into guitar, i thought maybe i could learn more through this club. lee signed up with me as well. both of us were interviewed at the same time. and it was done by a whole group of people from the club. they asked quite a number of questions like what instruments do we play. what genre you liked and stuffs like that.and then lastly, they tell us to sing at least a few sentences.im like wtf! sing? in front of them?when my singing suck so badly. but lee was chosen to start first.he took so so long before he started singing a few lines. he sang an jing. then it was my turn, i took the guitar, started playing chasing cars. that was the easiest i could think of, and started singing, forgotten some of the lyrics but still ok. overall, it was fun lah, didn't regret joining the club.i guess will be joining them for activities every wednesday :D

labour day

wassup people~ it's labour day! everybody loves labour day, because the best thing about labour day is, people don't have to work(mostly) and we don't have to go school!!! i envy those people who are already on their way to town, to catch a movie, to meet up with friends, to stroll at the beach, to take buses aimlessly, to take the train from the east to the west, to have sex at his/her gf/bf house.WHY? because once again, im STUCK rotting at home.

I'm having this fcuking toturing stomachach since last night. I went to the toilet for approximately 7 times, lucky 7 isn't it. and my backside is like tearing apart. i never know shitting could be so such a painful experience. i was biting onto my shirt while shitting, imagine how painful was that. i don't know what the fcuk did i ate that upset my stomach. if i know what was it, i swear im not eating that for my entire life. i already tried eating this small litlle pills, its called pozaiyi, some of you might know, its for stomachachs.but it wasn't much help for me. i've also applied some kind of medicine on my stomach, you know those kind for babies whenever they have stomachach you apply this on their stomach as well?yeah i've did that and i felt worse.

i had a hard time sleeping as well. because my ass was really painful, i have to tilt myself facing either right or left. i can't lie down flat. but at least, today is slightly better already. i don't feel the pain as frequent as yesterday. but if it worsen later on, i gonna visit the doctor. but i dont know if it's open today.

sigh, what a holiday for me. how i wish i would have someone to accompany me right now. where are you, girl?

year 2, first day

before i start with my first day of year 2, let me just blog about the celebration yesterday. it was jiun hsien 18th birthday. we went to kbox at cine in the afternoon. we had hell of a great time there. louis was exceptionally high, dont know what's up on him. chin hing was sleeping almost the whole session, but when he's awake, he is freakin mad. singing like a mad guy, i mean more like shouting instead.jerome never sang a song, LIKE ALWAYS. what to do, emo shit. lee was singing like he was having a concert.and for once, jiun hsien was behaving so well througout the whole session because someone was there. well, they sounded well doing duets. and for me, i was having fun rapping all the way. i rapped well, i guess? =P

so after that, we met the rest of the maoists and also siree and zheng ying for dinner at swensons. the service was good, the manager was friendly. the meals were great. i also bought a cake at swensons as a birthday present for jiun hsien. we sang birthday song for him, he made his wish, cut the cake, and we ate the cake. we head home after a long yet fun day. everyone had fun, most importantly jiun hsien enjoyed himself.

all right, so today!first day of year 2, one word : SUCKS! why? first of all, i was late for class. because i went to take jian yong's laptop from his friend. thanks to him. late for the first lesson. i totally hate my time table.dont know how the hell they come up with such bloody shitty time table. i've got a 3hours freakin long break today after my first 2 lessons, then will be having 1 hr lecture. its really waste of my time la. i was really rotting throughout the 3 hrs break. fcuk it. imagine every monday will be like this for the next half year. and for the 1 hr lecture, it was hell boring. everyone was dozing off. well for me, i was playing BINGO with my friend. nothing to do, cant helps. and then back home straight after that. was too damn tired. yeah so that's all.

Stomp The Yard

i just realised most of the times im out is only when i go for movies. except for last saturday, went for clubbing. well, it was a wild night that's all i can say. but anyway, yeah so today went to town for a show again, Stomp The Yard. it was really a nice show i should say. looking at how they dance, and the tracks that were playing, you will somehow get into the mood to dance as well. the way they danced, unbelievable. if only i could dance like that, probably in a million years time.
Who will like this show? all those hip-hoppers, street-dancers, hip-hop music lovers, chris brown fans( though he only appeared for 10 short minutes), ne-yo fans, girls who will like to see some hunks with 6 packs. yeah i think thats all. i give it 4 bites! below is a short synopsis, read it if you're interested about this show.

Who's in It: Columbus Short, Meagan Good, Ne-Yo, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Chris Brown
The Basics: Let's say you're white, sheltered and have never seen School Daze. Then you probably don't know about "step" competitions. They're a type of dance competition that some African-American university students participate in. And according to this movie, it's a cutthroat world of brutal one-upmanship and chiropractor-employing moves that involve crashing to the floor — ribcage first — in a crumpled heap and then immediately rebounding from that death move by leaping up over people's heads, executing a triple-axle and landing on your nose. I think it's probably exactly how they say it is because I have no good reason to disbelieve them. So let's all think of it as a documentary.

What's the Deal? Even better, the movie starts with a murder. A murder that comes as the result of an underground street-dancing battle gone awry. That's how it goes down in the kill-or-be-killed world of … The Dance. You didn't know choreography could get this vicious, did you? You know you didn't. Those dance people are stone-cold gangsta. Off their own grandmas for missing a count.

Working is the No. 1 Goal of Most Actors: And for that reason, I am happy to see that Good is in this movie. If you didn't see Waist Deep or Brick, then you missed her being awesome in one bad movie from 2006 and one good movie from 2006. Here, she's playing The Girlfriend. So I hope the paycheck was nice.

Cannibalism

yes louis, i know my blog is stagnent, hasn't been bloggin. but you know, im not really a frequent blogger. just come and blog as and when i like =D. anyway, actually there are a lot of stuffs i could have blogged about, like how my chinese new year went. my trip back to my grandma house in malaysia. and other stuffs. but im just gonna skip all that and blog about today!

basically, went down to acer service centre to have my laptop fixed. my keyboard wasn't functiong.probably because water spilt into it but luckily that dude who fixed my laptop didnt found out that is was due to water spillage if not i will be charged. lucky lucky~ and after that went straight to vivo with romi and some of my classmates for a movie, HANNIBAL RISING. we couldnt make up our mind what show to watch at first. lee insisted on music and lyrics but i totally disagree. come on, five guys watching a romance show?!!you gotta be kidding. we actually wanted to try 300 but it was M18, fcuk it! just a few more months to my 18th birthday. but why cant they just look at the year we are born. we wouldn't want to take the risk so we left with Hannibal Rising and Primeval(did i spell correctly?). but you know, gong li was starring in Hannibal Rising, so yeah we went for it :P

alright, so comments for this show. i'll give it 3 bites. the whole story is about this guy(Hannibal) who took revenge for his sister who was EATEN, i say again, EAAATTEEENN by a group of soldiers during the WWII.eight years after the WWII, he had settled down in Paris with his beautiful aunt,GongLi,and studying at a medical school. Then, he began to track down the muderers of his sister one by one, killing every one of them, showing no mercy. there were quite a few really gore scenes.
Who will like this show? hmm.. i guess those who like gore movies such as SAW1,2,3 then i should very well recommend you this show. though i still think SAW is more gory. some of the methods used in this show to kill a person is pretty cool too. so probably murderers out there who wants to have a bit of creativity when you kill someone, yeah maybe this show will inspire you :D Anyway, below is a brief synopsis of this show taken from a website.

Mischa and Hannibal (Gaspard Ulliel), baby brother and sister, are inseparable; it is their love for each other that ties their bond. Their companionship is forever binding, until, with their family, while hiding from the Nazi war machine a twisted set of circumstance sets the pace for a most vicious attack on the future of one Hannibal Lecter for the sworn vengeance for the brutal killing of his baby sister. Years later, we find Hannibal, the teenager, setting up in Paris, and living with his aunt Lady Murasaki Shikibu (Li Gong) and studying at medical school here he finds his forte. Still searching for his sister's murderers, still bitter and still ever hopeful of satisfying his desire for retribution. This chance arrives, and soon we are to learn that for a pound of flesh lost a pound of flesh must be repaid. This is the horrific tale of justice and honour, a young mans growing pains that will have the guilty paying with more than just flesh and bone. This is the up and rising tale of the young Hannibal, prey you do not meet him, for meat you shall be to him. Taste his wroth.
